After a decade in the industry working for other companies, I decided to start Local Roots Landscaping to raise the standard of service and take a more personal approach to every project. I’ve been working in landscaping since my teenage years, starting out learning the trade hands-on and building a strong foundation in all aspects of outdoor work. After several years in the field, I took a different path and spent a couple of years working at a local courthouse. While it was a valuable experience, I quickly realized that I missed being outdoors and working with my hands.
That realization brought me back to landscaping, where I’ve been committed ever since. Over the years, I’ve continued to build my skills, experience, and pride in delivering high-quality work that reflects my standards and attention to detail.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing slo-pitch baseball, a sport I’ve been involved in since early adulthood, as well as spending time on the golf course whenever I can. Sundays are often reserved for watching football (Go Jaguars!) , a tradition I always look forward to. These interests keep me balanced and fuel the same dedication and focus I bring to my work every day.
